Welcome

The Ruiz family provides a happy, fun and safe environment for children of ages 1 and up. Our goal is to provide a variety of experiences for children in an engaging, loving environment that will promote the balanced development of your child. We are a bilingual English and Spanish speaking setting that provides a preschool learning routine everyday. We encourage and speak to them in English and in Spanish including the Spanish language during circle time/ lesson time.

Children learn and communicate through play. Our goal is to make play time and lesson time interesting and stimulating, developing children’s natural curiosity and building self-esteem. Our curriculum includes language arts, basic math skills, arts and crafts, gross and fine motor skill development, dramatic play, and music appreciation. Activities are designed to encourage your child’s emotional, social and cognitive development.

We carry out routine health inspections to ensure the highest standards of health and safety. We provide two healthy snacks a day. Lunch is provided by the parents due to differences in foods.

  1. I visited a lot of daycares and I HIGHLY recommend Ruiz Family Daycare for your child. I feel so lucky to have found a loving, warm, playful, and educational home-away-from-home for my son. He's been with them since he was 1-year old and now at 2, he knows his alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes and more, and is even starting to spell! And he's picked up a lot of wonderful Spanish. We LOVE Ruiz Family Daycare!

  3. I think that is so great to have English and Spanish in the daycare activities and lessons. I think children can really benefit from being bilingual. My daughter is soon going to have to be in daycare and I want to find the perfect fit. I would love for her to be in a place of diversity where she can learn and play in a safe environment.

  4. These kids look like they are really enjoying day care! I am trying to decide if I want to set my kids up or not. What is a great age to start your child in day care?

    1. Hi Holly,

I, personally, suggest starting your child at 2 years old in any kind of program. If life deems it necessary for you to start sooner, then by all means do what is necessary for your family. Make sure that 'quality' is the primary factor in choosing a childcare facility. I wish you and yours the best.

  6. These kids all look like they are having a great time. I've been deciding if I want to put my kids in daycare and have decided that it would be a good idea. My wife and I make good money and have the extra money to put our kids in a day care. http://www.enopianchorage.com/Default.aspx?m_id=2

  7. I'm debating whether to put my daughter in daycare. When my husband and I were first married, he wanted to be the main source of income and let me stay at home with the kids, but with this economy it's been difficult to make ends meet. My main worry is that she will learn friendship but not grow close to me as a mother if I'm working, you know? Am I worrying too much?

  8. I love how this daycare center feels like a home. I get the feeling that the children really feel at home and comfortable here. That is how I want my children to feel at a daycare center.

  9. I think it is great that there are so many different activities for the kids you take care of. It makes me happy seeing these photos of you and the kids you take care of. I also have a question- what should I look for when I am trying to find a day care center? I am looking for one for my little boy, and I want to make sure he goes to a great place. http://www.cottonwoodmontessorischools.com

  26. I have my two kids here with Miss Erika. Been very reluctant at first, due to trust issues, and hearing all the bad rep about day care centers. But once I met Miss Erika, I had this good vibe with her. She gave me peace, and that is some thing I needed with someone to take care of my kids. My kids were able to be more open with me, and with other kids to play with them. Miss Erikas love gave them self confidence. Thank you Miss Erika!

  27. A parent from the boys and girls club recommended me miss Erika. She works very well with the parents to make them feel comfortable as much as I did as a single father. It’s not easy, but I was able to be thankful to the parent I met at the Boys and Girls Club. Thank you for all that you do and forgiving my daughter to confidence.
